N70, N73 AND N91
After the success of N series (N70, N71, N73, N90, N80, etc), Nokia launch another version for the N series, the N series Music Edition. This music edition only applied for Nokia N70, Nokia N73, and Nokia N91.
The Nokia N70 launched on 2005 has made quite a success around the world. The N70 already support 3G and it has dual camera for it, the 2MP primary camera on the back and the VGA secondary camera on the front. The operating system in Nokia N70 uses Symbian OS 8.1a. There’re many features that you’ll find in this great cellphone such as push to talk feature, MP3/AAC/MPEG4 player, Java MIDP 2.0, FM radio, voice command/memo, etc. The Nokia support GPRS class 10 to explore the internet. And to transfer files, the Nokia N70 provides you with Bluetooth and USB port. The different between ordinary Nokia N70 with the Nokia N70 Music Edition is the default external memory card (RS-DV-MMC) included in the sales package. The ordinary Nokia N70 has 64MB external memory card while the Music Edition has 1GB memory card, enough to store hundreds of your favorite songs.
The Nokia N73 also a phenomenal cellphone since it was equipped with 3.15MP camera using Carl Zeiss optics. Launched in 2006, this cellphone also support 3G. The Nokia N73 works in UMTS / GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 network. The screen uses 256K colors TFT screen making it able to display clear and beautiful picture. And just like the N70, the Nokia N73 also supports MP3/AAC/MPEG4 player and FM radio. But the Nokia N73 already has 3D sound stereo speakers, making the sound comes out from N73 is loud and clear. Data transfer can be done through Bluetooth, infrared and USB port. For the Nokia N73 Music Edition, you’ll get 2GB of memory card (miniSD). With 2GB additional memory, you can save songs and even short movie into the N73.
And last on the Music Edition is the Nokia N91. Unlike the Nokia N70 and N73 which use bar design model, the Nokia N91 uses slide design model, although the slide design is a bit different from Nokia 8800 Sirocco. Only the bottom part of the Nokia N91 that will slide to show the keypad numbers. This cellphone originally was designed for music lover. It has 3.5mm audio output jack that you can connect to a speaker or other devices like radio tape, to make the sound more louder. If other cellphones use internal memory and additional external memory, the Nokia N91 already equipped with internal 4GB microdrive. The function is the same as a hard disk in your computer. So it doesn’t have external memory slot. The camera installed in this cellphone is a 2MP camera with 1600x1200 pixels resolution. The Nokia N91 comes in three different colors, Light Blue Chrome, Dark Gray Chrome, and Black. For the Music Edition, instead of the 4GB microdrive, you’ll get 8GB microdrive to save your tunes and movies. With 8GB, what more can you ask. This is definitely the cellphone for music purpose.
