Using a stylish slide design, the Nokia 8800 comes in to two color options, silver or black. To strengthen its style, Nokia 8800 use durable stainless steel cover and scratch resistant glass. This is surely the phone made for fashion. The Nokia 8800 is available on September 2006.

Nokia 8800 works in GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900, so if you’re someone who travels a lot to other countries, you don’t have to worry not getting any connection on your cellphone. The size is 107 x 45 x 17.5 mm with 138 g in weight, heavier compare to other since Nokia 8800 used stainless steel cover.

Although Nokia focuses this phone for fashion phone, but it still have features such as camera, FM radio, and MP3/AAC player. The camera is 2 MP (1600 x 1200 pixels) and you can use it for video recording too. The downside for Nokia 8800 is that this phone doesn’t have external memory slot. But Nokia already equipped it with 128MB internal memory and it can save up to 1000 phone book entries with photo call.

For data transfer, you can use Bluetooth and USB port. Infra red port isn’t available for this model. The Nokia 8800 also support GPRS (class 8) and EDGE. Unfortunately there’s no support for 3G in Nokia 8800.

But if you’re someone who concern more on fashion than on function, than this is the phone for you. Compare to Vertu series, Nokia 8800 is a lot more affordable and you still get the fashion you needed. The price for this highly fashion cellphone is ranging from US$930-960.
