On May 2066, Nokia releases its newest model designed only for sport mania, Nokia 5500. If you love doing sport or your daily activities involve a lot of outdoor activities, then you can choose Nokia 5500 as your cell phone. The Nokia 5500 is uniquely design for sport lover and people with lots of outdoor activities. Nokia design it to be dust and splash resistant. The size of Nokia 5500 is 107 x 45 x 18 mm and weight around 103g. The screen use TFT capable to display 256K color, but the screen size is not very big but not to small either, 208 x 208 pixels. This Nokia model has two standard colors, Black and Gray.


Although it was designed for sport lover, the Nokia 5500 also has the capability to play MP3 /AAC/MPEG4 since it has the application to do so. It also has stereo FM radio application in it. Nokia is launching the new Nokia N95 with built-in GPS navigation system. So you there’s no need to worry when you’re abroad and you’re familiar with the location you’re visiting. The N95 has a map application installed covering over 100 countries around the world. Nokia N95 is a very suitable cellphone for those who often go abroad for business or vacation. This cellphone works in GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 network, so you don’t have to concern not getting any connection in other countries.

With the 16M colors TFT screen, it’s surely that you’ll get a much better view from the screen. The screen size is quite big, 2.6 inches (240 x 320 pixels). Overall size for Nokia N95 is 99 x 53 x 21 mm, and weight 120g.

Like the Nokia N91, Nokia N95 also uses sliding mechanism, but the difference is Nokia N95 use ‘dual slide design’ meaning you can slide it up and down. So, transferring and downloading data is very easy with the Nokia N95. And it already supports EDGE, 3G, WLAN and GPRS class 10.

Other feature from Nokia N95 is the push to talk feature, office document viewer, 3.5mm audio output jack. The battery claimed to have talktime up to 6.5 hours and standby time up to 220 hours.

For data transfer, you can use Bluetooth and USB port. Infra red port isn’t available for this model. The Nokia 8800 also support GPRS (class 8) and EDGE. Unfortunately there’s no support for 3G in Nokia 8800.

But if you’re someone who concern more on fashion than on function, than this is the phone for you. Compare to Vertu series, Nokia 8800 is a lot more affordable and you still get the fashion you needed. The price for this highly fashion cellphone is ranging from US$930-960.
